What is Anglicanism?
Anglicans are part of a large family of Churches that have descended from the English Church. Our identity can be described by the following characteristics:

We are BIBLICAL because for us the Bible is the ultimate and final authority for belief and practice.

We are LITURGICAL because we worship according to beautiful set forms given to us in the Book of Common Prayer.

We are SACRAMENTAL because we believe that Holy Baptism is the entry into the Church and Holy Communion is the regular Sunday service.

We are MISSIONAL because we long for all to hear about the love of God made known in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are HISTORICAL because we are connected to the great tradition of the Church going back to the first century.

We are INTERNATIONAL because there are 85 million Anglicans worldwide, worshipping God in many different languages.
